About the bands...
..

Burnell Pines

These local favorites are back for their second Davestock. Burnell aka frontman Jeremy Bernstein writes and sings songs about the Hudson Valley and life in the land where The Band, Van Morrison, and Bob Dylan once made seminal music. His his all-star band taps directly into that tradition with help from drummer Justin Guip, Levon Helm’s three-time Grammy winning producer and right hand man. Their live sets move through a range of emotion, with plenty of dance-able driving tunes, balanced by slower grooves with earnest lyrics and singing.

The Other Brothers
The Hudson Valley’s favorite up and coming rock and roll band. Every show is a family affair thanks to the support of their ever-growing fan base. Since 2012, the band has been fighting the good fight for live funk music. Lead singer Chris Owens and his band have frequently drawn comparisons to soul-funk gods like Stevie Wonder and D’Angelo. With soaring jams and kind conversation, The Other Brothers have been extending their turf with great precision.

Lara Hope & The Ark-Tones
Roots Rock n’ Rockabilly   - Winner of the 2017 Ameripolitan Music Award for Best Female Rockabilly Artist. and named the “Best Up-And-Coming Band” by Hudson Valley Magazine, Lara Hope and the Ark-Tones are New York’s premier roots rock n’ roll, rockabilly, rhythm & blues outfit and will spread the gospel of American music at Davestock this year.

Little Rock
A brand new band fronted by long time Hudson Valley rockster Vito Petroccitto, Little Rock plays a mix of Swampy, Blues, Rock n Rollin good time music! This ensemble can deliver the goods musically, and have a lot of fun while they’re doing it! The band features Vito on Guitar, Jeff Schecter on Keys, Mark Dann on Bass and Dan Hickey on Drums.

Sean Schulich
Hailing from Woodstock and living in New York City, Sean is an in demand flute player and his playing is described as “audacious” and “staggering” by Jazz Review.  Sean’s flute style expresses his versatility and shows his passion for all flavors of music including reggae, funk, rock and hip-hop. He is bringing up a team of multi-talented NYC musicians ready to blend deep, afro and jazzy influences over a funky driven rhythm patterns for their set at Davestock.

Sometimes Sinners
They have their own country-fried rock sound, honed in the barrooms and on the festival stages of NY’s Hudson Valley.  They write songs filled with grit, humor and romance while interpreting the classic Americana tunes that brought them together in the first place.  Love, stomped out like a cigarette, and blown away like the autumn leaves.  Featuring founding members Doug Yoel on guitar and vocals, Carmen Ann on vocals, Chuck Cornelis on bass, and Manuel Quintana on drums.
