"Davestock is what living in Woodstock is all about!"
~ overheard at last year's Davestock

This is not a public event but it has turned into a community gathering of my friends and your friends so feel free to invite your inner circle. The Bands...
Hollis Brown Their music has been described as sounding "just as alive today as it would’ve in 1966 and will 40 years from now." Hollis Brown is an American rock & roll band. Named after a Bob Dylan song (“The Ballad of Hollis Brown”) and noted for their songwriting, the band has toured with Deer Tick, Lucero, The Counting Crows, Citizen Cope and The Heartless Bastards.
The Wiyos We Welcome back The Wiyos, who have been rolling for over a decade. They were one of the first "old-timey" bands to emerge on the national scene in the first wave of acoustic bands riding the renewed popularity of early swing jazz, rural folk, old time blues and Appalachian music. Their relentless touring in the US and Europe, and numerous critically acclaimed albums landed them a tour as openers of the Bob Dylan show. The Wiyos were also featured in the BBC television documentary, "Folk America - Hollerers, Stompers and Old-Time Amblers".
The Mateo Dougan Band Playing their fifth Davestock, “MDB” features Peter Dougan on left hand thumping guitar, Paul Schiavo on the deep bass, Eric Parker on drums and Carl Mateo on keys, guitar and electrified harmonica. Americana based, funky blues, and lounge driven accents carry the characters in the songs and the listeners bearing witness on an fun and adventure filled journey all their own.
M'Bollo M’Bollo is an exciting blend of the various ethnic traditions from Senegal, West Africa. M’bollo means "gathering people together" in Senegal‘s national language, Wolof. M'Bollo's music is written and arranged by singer, Amadou Diallo. Amadou brings the ancient rhythms of Africa into the present tense with the use of Western instruments, such as electric guitar, standup bass, mandolin and banjo. The music is upbeat, positive, and extremely danceable!
Wild Adriatic "Flawlessly tight with infectious melodies & tons of soul." - Relix "Full of rocking blues, soul, and depth." - Huffington Post "An act to get behind." - USA Today ...
. From upstate New York, Wild Adriatic is rooted in the rowdy spirit of rock & roll and has built an international audience on a combination of groove, grit, and guitar heavy swagger. Influenced by seventies rock to Motown to soul, Wild Adriatic plays music for a contemporary audience and puts on a great live show.
In The Kitchen A mixture of Bluegrass, Folk, Soul and R&B. In The Kitchen got their start in a steamy kitchen of a second-story apartment in Rosendale, NY. It was a warm midsummer evening and the boys started plucking sweet sounds as chicken, potatoes, and green beans sizzled in the oven. You might say that meal defined the band's sound, simple and satisfying. In The Kitchen plays a mix of Americana music... hints of bluegrass, country, and soul pepper their songwriting. Their live sets move through a range of emotion, with plenty of danceable driving tunes, balanced by slower grooves with earnest lyrics and singing.
