The adrenal glands serve a number of purposes including salt balance, sex hormone production and dealing with physiological stress, but their relationship with the immune system is less direct and although a valid concern I don't believe they are affected by smoking cannabis. Also if your adrenals were "depleted" you'd be dead or a lot more sick; it's called Fredrichson-Waterhouse Syndrome in its acute form, or Addison's in its chronic form.
