- Since Mark asked for my response, here it is Maybe or 80% or 40% are expressions of personal issues that are far beyond the scope of this gathering. All we really want to know is -Are you coming or not? �Maybe� causes me to start thinking about things like �should or shouldn�t I come� or �what does �Joe�s� 40% really mean?� At the end of the day it doesn�t really give you an accurate picture of attendance � and by that defeats the purpose for which this site was created. Furthermore, it encourages people not to commit and opens up the door for �un- deciders� and a lot has been said about that.   0% 10:50a 30th

Matt: Michael has long petitioned against allowing percentages. Once Eric started complaining, I thought I should give it a try.
