Adam Widoff - This is demented. What do the studies say about the risk of contagion playing ultimate? Until there’s some science on this (and the weather improves) I’ll be in my bunker. I, too, advise against it. We don’t know what the numbers of infected are but they’re certainly greater than the reported cases. We all have an obligation to reduce transmission in order to prevent our woefully inadequate health care system from becoming overloaded, which is a real possibility. Just look at Italy. I know it sounds drastic, but I believe non-essential socializing should be avoided for the foreseeable future. My sister, an MD in Manhattan, agrees. Hey.
